About the Doc.
Doc Curran has been playing in fron of audiences since he was 15 and in fact learned to sing in a gospel hall in his Irish home village of Waringstown.

He sings with a classic raw gravel lived-in blues voice, rights a lot of his own songs, and plays slide guitar, alternate tunings, acoustic, resonator, and electric. He can also play some ukeuele and blues harmonica.
He performs live 'unplugged style' by himself but typically with a harmonic player or second guitarist. However, he also has a band in London called 'Doc Curran's Big City Blues Band' and a band in the Netherlands called 'Doc Curran And The Holy 7' (www.doc-7.com).
